About The Program

The Getting Things Done® Essentials Certification Program is designed to certify experienced corporate trainers who are interested in modeling and teaching the best practices for implementing GTD® methods within their organization. (Please note that this program is not open to individual consultants.) Read What is GTD?

Program Benefits

As a Certified Trainer, your organization will be licensed for you to lead the Getting Things Done Essentials Workshop—a fast-paced half-day course designed to deliver the key concepts outlined in David Allen's best selling book Getting Things Done. This course is an introduction to the Five Stages of Mastering Workflow, which enables relaxed focus and control in a world of rapidly shifting priorities. This course is ideal for those new to GTD methodology as well as veterans looking for a refresher on the key concepts.

In addition to the dynamic content of this half-day curriculum, each learner will receive an educational materials package, and a full year of on-demand educational support through our GTD Connect® online learning center. Learners will have access to:
  • The 16-part Getting Started audio and video series, offering a step-by-step guide to implementing GTD.
  • The GTD-Q®: an innovative assessment tool based on the Matrix of Self-Management that provides each participant with instant feedback on their personal effectiveness, and tips for improvement.
  • A rich variety of Webinars and Setup Guides designed to support each learner in setting up their GTD system on paper, in Lotus Notes®, Outlook®, Entourage®, and other popular software programs.
This program is designed to support Certified Trainers in tailoring the GTD methodology to their organization's specific needs, empowering trainers to creatively assist in the implementation, reinforcement, and ongoing learning of the groundbreaking GTD methodology.
